Do Australian Xbox360 Games and UK Xbox 360 Games use the same region code or are they different?

Hi All, I am thinking of buying my brother in Australia a few Xbox 360 games and sending them over for christmas. I just need to know if I can buy the games here and send them over?

Yeah both use the PAL designation so any game bought in Australia or UK can be played on either 360 console
